2,422 shipments. Over 546,000 tons of rice leaving Pakistan for nearly 70 countries.
That's not a niche export. That's Pakistan quietly feeding a huge share of the world's rice bowls — Philippines, UAE, Madagascar, Tanzania, the UK, all the way to smaller volumes reaching Germany, the US, Australia.
102,000+ tons of that was basmati alone. Prices for the same grade swung from under $1/kg to nearly $1.80/kg in the same 30 days — proof that this isn't a uniform commodity, it's a market where quality and trust command a real premium.
Pakistan doesn't always get the recognition India does in this category. The export numbers say it should.
